Tony Towle has read his work in about 200 venues since 1963, including at Princeton University, Wagner College, Channel 13 (WNET), the New School, New York University, St. Mark's Church, the 92nd Street YMHA, Finch College, Columbia University, Hofstra University, the Cleveland Museum of Art, the University of Illinois (Chicago Circle), the Museum of Modern Art, the University of Minnesota, Barnard College, SUNY Purchase, UCLA, Harvard University (the Lamont Library), Vassar, the Brooklyn Public Library, WNYC, and the Library of Congress.
